Food tour description:
Camden Town has been at the centre of Britain’s alternative music scene and counterculture for decades. Punks, Ravers, Hippies, Metalheads, and even Amy Winehouse have all found home here. There’s probably no London neighbourhood with a more rebellious vibe than Camden – making it the perfect place for our Rebel tour guides to take you on a food tour!
Our Plant Power vegan food tour showcases some of the best plant-based food the city has to offer, and as we make our way around several of London’s best vegan eateries, you’ll also hear the stories and get immersed in the culture of this celebrated and unique part of town.
Discover Camden’s heritage as a powerhouse throughout the Industrial Revolution, and how it transformed from a heavy goods station and enormous gin distillery into the thriving market and the epicentre of British music and alternative culture that we know today.
Walk down streets known and loved by some of the world’s most iconic musicians, radicals and socialists, and of course the ordinary working people at the heart of Camden’s story.
There’s no better way to “lunch in London” – so sign up for our Plant Power food tour today!

- We regret that we are unable to accommodate gluten-free on our public tour. Contact us if you are interested in booking a private tour.

Our Plant Power tour includes food but not drinks (water is however available complimentary at most stops). If you fancy a tipple while you eat, you can add on our drinks package for only £20!
Enjoy a local Camden beer at our first eating stop, and later in the tour, you’ll have a second alcoholic drink of your choice (beer, wine, cider, or a cocktail!)
** Menu items can vary depending on the day, but will include a combination of most things from the list above, subject to availability and group size (certain dishes will only be included when we have larger groups).
* Sampling some of the local gin is included for all guests, regardless of whether or not you purchase an upgraded drinks package. The taste is subject to availability, and is at the discretion of the distillery. Tasting may be skipped if the distillery needs to close to visitors (it is a working distillery)! Gin can only be sampled by those 18 years of age or older, and upgraded drinks packages may also only be consumed by those aged 18+.

About ‘Rebel Tours’
Rebel Tours is a radical and social history walking tour company offering alternative tours of London. Founded by Charlotte Everett and Eleisha Kennedy, working in tourism as guides and historians, they found themselves with no work due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They decided to use this time to craft a company of their own so that when things reopened, they would welcome back both tourists and locals alike with something radically different from what other tours were offering.
The Rebels focus on the stories that are often left out of “classic” London tours: working-class people, LGBT stories, women’s history, and people of colour. Rebel Tours focuses on the people and movements that have shaped the city, as well as what life was and is like for the people who call London home.
Their most popular tour is an “inverted” and alternative “Jack the Ripper” tour, which instead of focusing on a violent killer of women, gives the women’s stories and their community the sole focus. The company also does seasonal tours: “Irish London” for St Patrick’s Day, special Pride Edition tours of Covent Garden, an interactive Gunpowder Plot tour in November, and a Dickens tour around Christmas time.
“Do London Differently” is the mantra of Rebel Tours, and their Plant Power food tour also serves to offer foodies something a little different.
